Lisa Wedel
Registered Physiotherapist*Lisa is now able to treat pelvic health clients!*
Prior to earning her MSc. PT from the University of Toronto, Lisa completed an BSc. Honours in Biological Science with a concentration in French Studies from the University of Guelph. She has a passion for sports and sport rehab, given her experience as a captain of the Guelph Gryphons Varsity Women’s Volleyball Team and playing for the Varsity Blues Women’s Volleyball team during her master’s. Lisa’s interest in physical therapy started with seeing the impact it can have on others, especially on the life of my grandmother during her stroke rehab. She truly knew she wanted to be a physiotherapist once she understood how well the dynamic profession aligned with her passion for anatomy and physiology, and her longstanding commitment to improving equality for all in recreation and sports. During her sport fellowship at the HPC, Lisa is looking forward to learning from the incredible staff and giving back to the Gryphon and greater Guelph community that holds a special place in her heart.
Kanzah Hassan
Resident PhysiotherapistI am enthusiastic about pelvic health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and I strive to provide patient-centered, evidence based treatment tailored to each individual’s needs and goals.
My approach is grounded in empathy, active listening, and ongoing learning—ensuring that every patient feels supported and empowered throughout their recovery journey.
Outside the clinic, I’m a food enthusiast who loves experimenting with different flavors in the kitchen. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, getting lost in a good novel, catching up on sleep (underrated!), and unwinding through doodling and creative sketching.

My HR experience includes recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and supporting workplace policy implementation. I have a particular interest in creating positive employee experiences and streamlining HR processes to support both staff and organizational goals.
I’m known for being detail-oriented, approachable, and committed to continuous learning. I have a passion for discovering new places, cuisines, and cultures, which broadens my perspective and often leads to meaningful conversations. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality time with my family.
I’m truly excited to be joining the EPA team and look forward to contributing to a collaborative and supportive workplace.
